From the foundation till now

All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Ukrainian Association Geologists" is founded on 23rd of February, 2000, when a foundation Conference in Kyiv approved Statute and Board of the Association. On 10th of May, 2000 the Association of Ukrainian Geologists is registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (the Certificate No 1420).

In a relatively short period of its activity UAG became public organization with an important influence in development of geological industry in Ukraine. Up to date UAG has held four Conferences of Ukrainian geologists, a number of scientific and scientific-practical conferences. At the 1st Conference the delegates approved the strategy of development and reforms of geological industry of Ukraine for 2003-2010 which has been elaborated with the active assistance of UAG.
